Reflective Post

As you calm down and think about your fears and dreams

You see in every one, one common thing

You see yourself, conquering your life,

Making it what you want it to be, 

But then what.

You fall down, get hurt, racing is over for the season

Your love is gone, but only temporarily

She will be back, eventually

But what to do until then?

Every time we fall, we have a choice

We can get up, brush the dust off of our shoulders

Or we can lay there, act like the pain will be there for days,

When you know it lasts years.

 

I,

I choose to get up

Until I know I am finished

I will try, I will push my limits

I will grow, stronger, faster, quicker.
